Sheina Franco rejoined the firm this week. She clerked for Circuit Judge Dennis Ruth in 2012 and clerked for us last summer before returning for her last year of law school. Sheina is a 2014 graduate of Liberty University School of Law. She recently took the Illinois bar examination and we anticipate she will be licensed to practice law in October, 2014. She takes the Missouri bar exam in February, 2015.
Sheina will be working in litigation. She assisted the firm in a week long medical malpractice trial last summer and has been involved with retaliatory discharge, medical malpractice claims, auto accidents and other injury claims.
Sheina’s areas of concentration will be in family and domestic law. Sheina has deep Christian principles and believes that, even in divorce, people can be strong, civilized and fair. She believes that the needs of children must come first; that being fair does not mean being weak. She believes that a divorce lawyer’s job is to guide and protect her client though one of the most emotionally and financially devastating events a person can endure. I’ve worked with Sheina in the courtroom. She is thorough, smart and fearless.
