Zach Pashea recently settled a highly disputed workers' compensation claim. Mr. Pashea was able to secure a $15,000.00 settlement for a worker injured when trying to catch a disabled student. The employee injured his elbow as he caught the 200 lb disabled young man. The school system denied that the employee's injury was related to this event. Depositions were taken from experts and the case was set to be tried. Moments before the trial began, the employer made a settlement offer which included reimbursement to our client's group medical insurance. An excellent result (note: our client did not have to have surgery yet received nearly $10,000 in his pocket). Congrats Zach!
